Palm Coast Big Buoys Join the Orange State League
The Orange State League continues to build its presence across Florida with the addition of the Palm Coast Big Buoys, one of the newest teams set to compete in the league’s inaugural season.
Located along Florida’s northeast coast, Palm Coast is known for its scenic waterfront, growing community, and strong local pride. League officials believe the area is a natural fit for collegiate summer baseball and will provide a strong home for the Big Buoys as the Orange State League prepares to launch.
Commissioner Ryan Webb said Palm Coast represents exactly the type of community the league hopes to partner with as it establishes its foundation across the state.
“I am so excited that Palm Coast is part of the foundation we are building the Orange State League on,” Webb said. “This community brings the passion, energy, and competitive spirit that this league is all about.”
The Orange State League was created to bring high-level collegiate summer baseball to some of Florida’s most vibrant communities while also providing top college athletes with an opportunity to continue developing their skills during the offseason. Players from programs across the country will compete throughout the summer, gaining valuable experience in a competitive environment while showcasing their talents.
“The goal of the Orange State League is to bring high-level collegiate summer baseball to some of Florida’s best communities while giving elite college athletes a premier stage to compete, develop their skills, and showcase their talents,” Webb said.
In its inaugural season, the league’s focus is on establishing teams that not only compete at a high level on the field but also build strong connections with fans and the communities they represent.
What makes the Orange State League unique, according to Webb, is its emphasis on both the player experience and the atmosphere surrounding the game.
“What sets the Orange State League apart is our commitment to community, an elite fan experience, and player development,” Webb said. “Every night at the ballpark should feel like a big-time event that brings people together.”
The Palm Coast Big Buoys will now begin building their roster and community partnerships as they prepare for their first season of play. The team is expected to feature collegiate players from across the country who are looking to sharpen their skills and compete at a high level during the summer months.
With Palm Coast joining the growing lineup of Orange State League teams, the Big Buoys will play an important role in helping establish the league’s identity while bringing a new summer tradition of baseball to the region.
