Big Buoys Name Alexandra Berntsen General Manager
Palm Coast, FL — The Big Buoys are proud to announce Alexandra Berntsen as the organization’s General Manager, bringing a passion for community engagement and a fresh vision for growing the game of baseball in the Palm Coast area.
Berntsen steps into the role with a focus on elevating the local baseball scene while creating opportunities for both players and fans to connect with the game in new ways.
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to bring a higher level of baseball to the area and create something the community can truly be involved in,” said Berntsen.
Fans can look forward to an exciting brand of baseball featuring emerging talent from the region. “You’ll see up-and-coming local players coming together to compete at a high level,” she said. “It’s going to be competitive baseball that people can take pride in supporting.”
The opportunity to introduce something new to Palm Coast is what drew Berntsen to the Big Buoys. “I was really drawn to the chance to bring something different to the community,” she said. “This is about creating an environment that brings people together and gives young players something to look up to.”
Originally from New Jersey, Berntsen grew up surrounded by sports, participating in girls lacrosse, cheerleading, ballet, and later field hockey during her high school years. Her connection to baseball grew later in life after starting a family, where she developed a deeper appreciation and love for the game.
Now, Berntsen is focused on building a program that not only showcases talent on the field but also strengthens community ties off of it.
With her leadership and commitment to growing the game, the Big Buoys are poised to create an exciting and engaging experience for fans while inspiring the next generation of players.
